Roadmap

enable data union is in active development. Some areas we expect to focus on in the next year include:

• Broadening coverage of the Ed-Fi data model in the dbt packages, especially as we encounter more adopters of the framework that are using data domains beyond the student information system in Ed-Fi

• Expanding into support for different cloud databases; dbt provides a powerful framework to have one codebase that can run in multiple database platforms

• Generalizing the infrastructure components so they are less AWS-specific and using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform to unify and simplify setup

• Developing out more metrics frameworks packages that can be applied and imported beyond the "source" and "warehouse" packages

• Supporting the development of data integrations and packages produced by others

• Expanding documentation and creating more resources for community interaction
